I once was walkin with amut of a friend. The this 666 number was on a sighn leading to some old place. I followed the GARDEN PATH to the place. It was old. I was led all the way up the path from the garden to the old place.

Wow! I read all of it and it made me think! I have always wanted to understand more of the book of Revelation, and I think this is an interesting post and sums up a great deal. It kind of freaked me out though when I read about June 6, 2009 - as that happens to be today!!! I then went and read about Obama's trip to France to celebrate D-Day to see if there was anything that stood out. The only thing that did was right in the beginning of the article it quoted from Obama's speech about the sacrifices of D-Day veterans and their "unimaginable hell" as a lesson for modern times. At least he didn't say "end times" huh? Lol! But I do feel also that the modern times he mentions could very well be end times. I also want to note that I was fired last week from a publicly held company as an accountant. All that I would like to say is, this is a Christian website and obviously with Christian views. You targeted this website to either want answers to your problems and as you say have TRIED many religions. You seek for answers you would like to hear to please your pallette. Jesus died for you and for the muslims and everyone else for that matter. It is up to you and I to accept
what He did for us, and for matter to recieve what He has for us. Jesus is the Son of God, He is diety, He is not man, we are men, imperfect,voided, and
filled with confusion and lies. He is the light that brings truth and TRUE love, without Him we live in darkness with Him we have light. I am discouraged by the ignorance of the Muslim writer who blames Christains for the problems of the world. More so, I am disappointed in the responses of the so called Christains who do not use words of peace to persuade, but rather, use words to cause conflict. I am therefore leaning to believe that both are agents of evil. Christ will come and that I believe. Words written in a bible, which was written by men, I have a hard time swallowing when it has lead to so many wars. Christ the Messiah has come. Some praise his name as Jesus, but what Christain religion are we to believe. A nice site. But I am always disappointed when I see that someone apparrently doesn't have a clue what Rev 13:18 is referring to. Or at least if you do you are sure keeping it to yourself. Let me help you. I would suggest that you begin leaving the modern interpretations alone. The only ones that make 110% sense come from the commentaries and thoughts of the early Christians up through the mid 19th Cent.
First of all, nowhere in Rev. is the word antichrist used. Rev. 13:18 is not referring to THE Antichrist. There is no such thing. Rev 13:18 refers to The Beast.
There are several classic references which go into great detail about the prophecies of Daniel/Revelation, which both go hand in hand and refer to much the same events. Suffice it to say that we have known for about 1800 years who or rather what the Beast has been.
