the color red, vision

I keep seeing a vision of a man that I was romantically involved We have known each other since 2007. We were together for two years. I moved on in March 2010. He reconnected with me in Sep 2014. The last contact I had is when I left him a voicemail on Christmas 2015. I have moved on again naturally and spiritually. Lately I keep seeing him standing facing me with extremely red eyes. Trying to understand what it means.
