my great friend sheldon was killed in a car wreck last night by four drunk illegal mexicans .... august 14th . let me tell ya he was a people person . a great friend to everyone . he was 22 years old . i pray for his family. pure happiness shot by the sorrow arrow of death . but for some reason i have a lot of faith in me . i dont know why . the part that kills me is that night i was looking back at this party i went to. me and him smoked weed and had a deep talk . i wake up and hear he's been killed

I am sorry for your loss, but, "illegal Mexicans," was that really necessary? You could have left out illegal, or illegal and Mexicans. Like the other comment said, that's pretty stereotypical.

Do descriptive words offend you? There is a whole race and culture proudly called Mexicans. That's just a fact. It shouldn't be offensive to call a spade, a spade. The insult is in the fact that you find it offensive to be called a Mexican. On top of that, you add further insult tacking illegal citizenship on as a stereotypical association for Mexicans in America.

This guy, jacob, for all you know, is simply calling it like it is. Four, drunk, illegal, Mexicans killed his friend - nowhere in that statement does he assign any level of quality, subjectivity, or offense. Lay off and show some human decency for a guy who lost a pal. But more importantly, keep your hypocrisy to yourself and think before you speak.

It sounds too suspicious to descrive the persons who just wrecked a car as "drunk illegal Mexicans." After all, there are many prejudicial people who like to throw the wild card of the ol' drunkard or the illigal Mexican. Don't deny it. Some are pretty racist. The only thing that comes to mind is their race. Some racists even think all brown looking persons are Mexican origin. Maybe you should also be careful when throwing the race card or people may label you as racist.
