• In the Bible Protestant edition, the 61th book (the second epistle of Peter) is special because it includes 61 verses. It is the only book of the 66 having a such correspondence.

• On the Tables of Karnak are registered 61 names of Pharaoh.

• Anniversary of a person in Japan: completion of the sixty years cycle - kanreki.
