As far as I see the meaning of 666 is any man, 3 is a number of completion and 6 is the number of the beast (animal) as we all are without being born of the spirit, so as the 6 is the picture of the unborn spirit, the 9 is the picture of the upright reborn Christian, and I say Chistian because it was Jesus who came and died on the cross as a "show and tell", because people have trouble believing without something tangible to make them understand. The problem with Christianity is that "Christians make idols and religions out of the one God sent which raises Jesus Christ up to the level of God and that is the sin of idolatry, which is who the elect mentioned in Rev. will follow after becasue of the delusion of uninformed men that Jesus was God, Jesus didn't equate himself with God and some of the things that are done in Jesus name is not of God either. So pointing the finger at the other we all are prompted to take a look in the mirror and stop placing blame. We are all where we are suppose to be and and all flesh will see in the blink of an eye. In the end we will all stand as indiviuals before God, not because we are good but because we cared enough to ask and gave enough of our time to study on our own and ask God to point the way. Ask and you shall receive and if you are a followere of GOd, He will give you wisdom more precious than any monetary gains you seek to receive from religion or the world.
