When I was young, I participated in a holiday play at the church I used to attend. I remember being on stage when I saw a person in all white sitting in the back row. I remember after church asking my mom if she had seen the person in white and she answered no. But the person I saw should have been noticeable! I never figured out if what I saw was symbolic or if my eyes were just playing tricks on me. My church had white pillars but where the person in white sat there was no nearby pillars. This topic came up in discussion recently and my mother informed me that devils can disguised themselves as angels. I don't know why but that just freaks me out! Could someone please let me know if this occurrence can be explain in the bible!
The Bible, states we entertain angels unaware (speaking of angels of light not darkness). It could have been an angel in teh congregation; I'm sure one was there, they are always around us-you just were allowed to see this one. There were probably more there but you didn't see them. The Bible does state that satan can disguise himself as an angel of light, but I don't see why he would then. When that is done its to deceive. You just saw an angel sitting in the back of the church. Don't be fearful, God has not given to you the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Amen?!
