There are a lot of contradicting names such as Mary who is Jesus' mother and Mary Magdalene. I believe that the adulteress who was saved by Jesus was her because all the people who saved, cured became followers after they rescued. 10 people suffer from leprosy got cured while they were going home and one only returned and Jesus asked where are the rest 9? He became Jesus follower while Jesus' preaching years. It seems Jesus was showing virgin and adulteress as an example. Jesus' mother was not a hard core followers. She and Jesus' brothers was more toward mundane things with Jesus than listening and follow. Jesus denied his family when they come to pick him up while Jesus was with disciples.
I think she was lesbian though. She was very very manipulative maybe. However she broke her perfume bottle which was saved for her marriage to wash Jesus feet. She became honest. Jesus said that virgin Mary is the most blessed among women but she is the lowest in heaven.
Also, John the baptist didn't believe Jesus as Messiah. He is actually cousin of Jesus grew up closely. However, he was He sent his disciples to ask Jesus if he is Messiah. And, after he lost his disciples to Jesus, he turned to king to sermon ethics and got beheaded. Jesus also said that John is biggest among the person who were born out of women but smallest in heaven. On the contrarily, Jesus had disciple who named John who Jesus loved him the most. He was the closest to Jesus and he asked Jesus who will betray at the last diner. He was the first disciple to believe Jesus resurrection although Mary Magdalene was the first person to meet Jesus. He lived full age til die and wrote 3 books and the last of 66th book Revelation.

to anonymous......you are so way off......mary mag was neither adulteress or lesbian.........nobody is beyond redemption....adultery is the breaking one of the 10 commandments . jesus wouldn't associate with a killer or an adulterer he would have told her to go back to her husband.....seven demons maybe...but what are demons....rage , blasphemy....i would consider myself of high cristology but i had to draw a line and step over it and no got back to my old unbelievers life...previously i've stole, told lies , told racist jokes, belittled people, looked at other women...but to follow our great brother of light jesus ( yeshua) i had had to kill off my old self....its been hard but i'm getting into the swing of things now.....everybody is capable of becoming like jesus A SON OR DAUGHTER of god....mary magdalene is the female christ....a male dominated society wouldn't have tolerated a woman telling them gods plan of salvation so jesus was sent instead.......he was an ordinary son of man...went through many trials temptations and when the transfiguration happened he bacame a son of GOD=universe. and it is available to us all.....but you have to earn your place in the universe. read the aquarian gospel of jesus christ....darwins theory of evoloution sits comfertbly hand in hand with it .....we were blasted out into the farthest reaches of creation....ie microbes, electrons, atoms....and comfertably returning back to god=home....via re-incarnations dinosaurs apes dogs cats..to human...to ascended beings back to home in the heart of our divine mother father source ...if you feel a bit distant from your fellow humans its because your more advanced than others....like you may follow a master....buddha jesus confucious chief seattle.....you must leave a trail of breacrumbs or as it was carrots for me for others to follow
