If Panin found the date, one would think he was the one in the verse with wisdom and understanding, but he said he did not feel free to announce it.
This was in 1938,and he passed away in 1942. Maybe it wasnt time to announce it, and just "maybe" others have found it in the past and never revealed it. I really dont know. The scripture maybe is saying "only one man will count it, "AND"[one would assume] probably reveal what he finds.

The text does not say, find the name of The Beast by counting the number, but only to count the number which is 666, and this calls for Wisdom and understanding. Adding the letters of various names does not call for a lot of wisdom and understanding, which means there is another purpose for counting 666

Paul was the only apostle taught by Jesus after the resurrection. All the others were taught during his earthly ministry, while the offer of the Kingdom was still open to Isreal. Since the Lord didn't teach about the Rapture during his time on earth, its understandable that his disciples didn't teach it either.
In Galations 1:10-24 where Paul explains how he gained his knowledge, he hints that Jesus taught him personally during the 3 years that he spent at Mt.Sinai in Arabia after his conversion. Later, he also visited GOD'S Throne(2 Cor. 12:2) and learned things there he wasn't permitted to fully disclose.
GOD has clear strategic reasons for not revealing The Rapture to anyone before The Cross. In 1Cor. 2:6-10 Paul wrote that if satan had known what The Lord had in store for The Church, he would have done everything in his power to prevent The Crucifixion from taking place. Paul called it part of GOD'S SECRET WISDOM there, and in Ephesians 3:10. In addition, although GOD knew in advance that Isreal would reject The Kingdom, he couldn't disclose his plans for The Church until Isreal had made their rejection official. It wasn't until about 51 A.D. that GOD finally allowed Paul to reveal the doctrine of The Pre-Tribulation Rapture in his first letter to the Thessalonians.(1 Thess. 1:10 , 1Thess. 4:16-17, 1Thess. 5:9

So, there are at least 2 special groups of 176 verses in The Bible, ( which is all about JESUS CHRIST) one group at the START and one at the END.
The K.J. Bible has 31102 verses, which is 176 groups of 176 verses plus a remaining group of 126 verses.
176 + ? + 176 = 2368 (JESUS CHRIST greek numeric value)
