Please help me to understand the meaning of a dream I had? I had just within the past few months, this happened almost 5 years ago now, started studying from The Book of Mormon. In the dream, I was on the porch of a blue house. My father, who passed from life in 1998, opened the front door and he took my right hand. He then led me into a sitting room, of sorts and began apologizing for his death. It was quite emotional and very life changing for me, but near to the end he, Dad, told me that Heavenly Father forgave me all of my wrongs. That I can live free of guilt...in what way? What does this mean? Is it simply my subconscious or is there something more and deeper to be derived from that message?
Yes, Jesus forgives all sin. Seek him for guidance and ask God to keep speaking to you through dreams.

The Book of Mormon is of man and not of God. Your earth father is not here anymore nor are visits from the dead to be sought after. Often time mischievous spirits will take the form of a loved one to gain trust and plant seeds of confusion and lead us from the one who paid for our sins, Jesus. God forgives but the actual bible KJV, NKJV, etc, not Mormon, records the teachings of Jesus in the gospel and the letters of the apostles as Acts. Study them. Study the old testament too. REPENTANCE is a prerequisite to receivIng forgiveness. Jesus said it was finished before he died at the cross for us. But WE have to come to Him our heavenly intercessor before God’s judgment.
