The mark is symbolic. The hand is doing the work of God or the devil. The Forhead is haveing God in your heart(forhead, our love and thoughts are in our heads) or the devil. to not have the mark of god is to have the mark of the devil. but many will be deceived. it's not an actual mark. it's not going to be that easy.
and one more thing. God doesn't care about a microchip,tattoo,bumper sticker, whatever material anything. He cares only by whats in your heart (forhead) and by your works (hand). Love one another and do unto other as you would have done unto you. Love the Lord thy God with all thy Heart, Soul, and strength. Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal saviour. and lastly Keep the Lords commandments. Then you are marked by God. No microchip or tattoo can remove that. promise ya.

That doesn't make much sense. Physical manifestation naturally follows the spiritual so there's no reason a physical mark wouldn't be applied to a person who's mind is already against God. And a physical mark makes a lot of sense if worship is involved. Refusal of such a mark would not be easy if we take the word "all" literally.
