Dig up the 3rd root of 123: (note: ignore modern decimals and consider result as whole digits) 3rd root of 123 (to 3 digits) is 497 4 : D 9 : I 7 : G =================================
when you say "add up vertically" do you mean add each column? 312 123 231 666 ?
...........of course the same results if you multiply 1 2 3. The fact that the same result can be derived by addition or multiplication makes 123 a rather special number.
