i have been seeing this number for quite some time now. i know people say they see it on license plates but i see it literally on everyone and not ones that are far away, they always make their way right to me. i am always behind one, getting behind one, getting cut off by one, parking behind one etc. multiple times i go to work and when i park in the completely full parking lot of the shopping center, the one spot open is next to an 88. yesterday i went snowboarding, parked in the lot right behind an 88. but i kid you not this is one of hundreds of occurrances. The last two days have been bad with this number. after leaving the mountain i drove home and dropped my friend off. Following her leaving, i saw 5! cars with 88 just on my ten minute drive home. They were next to me and infront at different times! i got to the point where i was checking the other letters and numbers infront and behind the 88 cuz i was like, "is that the same car? it has to be? is there really another one??" this happens everytime i drive. there is never a time i drive and dont see an 88. i will be thinking to myself, wow i almost have made it without seeing one and then i will see one. im dead serious! i have told people but they think im nuts. the thing is im actually a really logical person. i believe in science and i also love philosophy. I am not deeply religious in a specific sense but i feel this deep connection with something greater out there and lately with all these weird coincedences, i feel it more. The 88 thing is out of control. i even set up an experiment where i use a counter number like 22 and say ok for every 88 if i see a 22 then its totally normal and why worry its just common..but then i will keep seeing the 88s and no 22s and it freaks me out! like the other day it was like out of a movie, it as 88 on every car no joke! the weird thing is that there is one other serious number i feel that is almost following me and that is 333. i wrote on this sight about that number too and u can see what i wrote about what has happened with me and that number and it will absolutely freak you out!! i have had this weird number thing going on for awhile but i am a normal 24 year old girl living my life so i havent been trying to put anything on hold to pursue some weird number issue, but since i recently decided to look up these two numbers and their meanings i have gone almost numb in this weird feeling that there are wayy too many coincedences happening to me. The number 333 i am reading represents God and the Trinity and how life consists of a trinity of trinities(333) its true and it all made sense. So i am coming to believe that 333 is not necessarily a bad number but the number representing God and Jesus Christ. Since the other number that i am seeing on everything is 88, the number of Hitler and apparently of all evil and violence, i am fearing there is some sort of battler going on with good and evil and its about me or something?? i know this sounds so crazy im sorry, but this is all true and i am just trying to be open minded and sort of wait to see what all this means..the 333 posts are really stunning its scary..the other weird thing is my first initial is A and my last is T but my mom and my moms whole side of the family are German and last name begins with H. This was supposed to be my name and my mom was fighting to have it be. In that case i am AH..yikes..did hitler have a middle name? i have been curious lately..i also had a rash on my arm that said the word SIN. I got it from a bracelet i had worn and then the next day the rash had formed the word SIN. Alot of people saw it..it frightened my mom and grandma..all these things seem so odd to me..when does irony and coincedence become more then that?? let me know what you think..
The Biblical meaning of 88 is VIOLENCE. In the 88th verse of the Bible Kain killed Abel, the 2 times 88th verse from the back is verse with the number of the Beast in it (666), Hail Hitler, HH, is 88, Psalm 88 is gloomy, negative and mentions violence a lot.
But that's it! Full stop or period as you'd say! The 7 means perfection, biblically speaking, the 40 means trial, testing and the 3 is heaven and the 4 is earth ... biblically speaking ... no more. God teaches through numbers, days, colours (the tabernacle was dominated by blue, red and white), feasts, nature, calendars, etc. But that's it, teaching.
Someone who lives at number 88 is not necessarily a violent person - my Godfearing grandfather lived at 88 - and someone living at number 7 is not necessarily perfect, neither is someone living at 8 saved. He or she could be, but that has nothing to do with the house number. Neither are all those cars with 88 on the licence plate out to get you! Many German surnames begin with H and many girls' first names begin with A. We shouldn't be superstituous about these things. Even if Psalm 88 is the gloomiest Psalm there is ... it still starts with 'O LORD, God of my salvation' ...
Many people like 8's for obvious reasons. It is 2 tot the power of three (2 x 2 x 2), it is the number of corners of a cube. It's very square! For the Chinese the more 8's the better, it is considered lucky. So this might be one of the reasons for a superfluous number of 88's and 22's etc. on licence plates. I thought people could pick numbers in the States for licence plates, if they pay extra?
Right-wing extremists - and you have quite a few in the States - know that 88 is the code for Hail Hitler! And therefore they may pick that number for their plates on purpose. I you can ever pick a number, pick 888 ... that is the number for Jesus, as the letters of the Greek I
