Mystery Babylon represents False God worship in ANY OF ITS' FORMS. The word mystery directly correlates to the word Spiritual. Her harlot offspring are the very religious entities, creeds, denominations, religious organizations, ministers, prophets, cults, etc. of all the nations of the world and history of such, that produce and lead people from the truth. She is so pervasive, that she captures ALL the people of the history of the world in her web of deceit, even to the point that the REAL CHURCH, from time to time, gets tangled in her web and has to be delivered by Jesus Christ to save them. COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE, THAT YOU BE NOT PARTAKERS OF HER SINS. If you're caught in RELIGION, then you're in her grasp. She(religion) has led the MOST VOLUPTUOUS LIFESTYLE in the history of the world, (materialism, riches, power, hierarchy, etc.) She IS NOT physical Babylon, but the spiritually confused and degredated false god worshipping component of the history of the world. She rides(co-habitates and copulates to produce) her 7-headed/10 horned counterpart, which represents historical empires from Egypt through the 10 nation/regional confederacies of the globe, being orchestrated and run LIKE the old EMPIRIAL ROMAN EMPIRE.
I believe that the Mark Of the Beast will be a chip implant in the palm of the right hand or the forehead. Every bar code has 666 embedded in it. The 3 6's in the bar code is used for speed & accuracy. They have nothing to do with the name and price of the product. When we have the one world economic system ran by the one world gov't this will be put into place. What one is doing in the end times that gives them the mark of the beast is accepting the microchip. You are putting your faith in the gov't to take care of you instead of trusting in Jesus and God. The way this will happen is the economy, food supply, and healthcare will be so messed up that in order to have any assistance from the gov't you have to accept the "mark" (microchip). That is why the gov't has brainwashed citizens into believing we are entitled to everything without working for it. The gov't creates problems so the citizens look for answers. Then here comes big gov't with an answer and the answer always gives the gov't more control and power over the people. That is why we have food shortages, water shortages, health problems, economic disaster, and chaos. The gov't wants us to depend on them for our every need. That way when the time comes to accept the mark we will if not prepared not to.

Sometimes it's true of myself that I don't know enough about a subject to give a definative answer. However, scripture proves scripture, and therefore the scriptures always provides the answer. Israel has on many occasions been descibed as an unfaithful woman..a whore! Rather than setting an example and being holy in the sight of God, Israel went whoring after the nations around her, and became as they were..Babylon etc. Israel is the Mystery Babylon in Revelation. In Revelation Israel becomes like her Islamic neighbours as represented by the beast/Daniels image. The lion; bear; and leopard (+ colonies) aspects of the composite beast cover the old geographical areas of Iran; Iraq; Syria; Turkey; Lebanon; Egypt; Libya(old Tripolania and Cyrenaica). Israel will be seduced into a peace deal with her enemies after which her enemies will renage on the deal. The Jews are then crushed..they cry out to God..and God sends them a deliverer..Jesus Christ.
