Prasad, I read your post & I must say notable observation. It's true number 18 is regarded in all Oriental spiritual & religious practices very holy. 1= सूरà¥à¤¯ Sun, 8= शनि(सूरà¥à¤¯à¤ªà¥à¤¤à¥à¤°)Saturn, 9= मंगल Mars(गणपती च कारà¥à¤¤à¤¿à¤•à¥‡à¤¯).
Aura of 9 helps साधक in his साधना to ultimately reach साधà¥à¤¯ in the most Satvik way possible. Its aura keeps Tamasikata, Rajasikata away.
Bharatvarsha needs more Sanatani like you :) Kudos brother. I am proud of your spiritual curiosity & progress so far in this realm. Keep it up.

Thats true.
In Hinduism, almost all numbers add up to either 18 or 9. 108 is also very important.
There are 18 steps(stairs) in Sabarimala.
It is said that there are 18 steps to attain moksha(liberty).
