God in His sovereignty granted us free will, and with that, the ability to choose how to interpret Scripture. As you've posted, a pretrib rapture is a nice idea. And as you've also rightly pointed out, post-tribbers tend to have more Scripture to back up their point of view, while pretribbers have more warm and fuzzy feelings (what you referred to as common sense and logic -- but of course, both sides have common sense and logic).

So we have to ask ourselves; should we form our beliefs based on our own common sense, logic, feelings, and "amazing numerics", or base our beliefs primarily on God's Word (and maybe a little history)? Glory to God that each of us gets to make our own decision.

I agree with you though. Regardless of which point of view is true, our focus should be on sharing the Gospel, not worrying about how to save our families from an ominous doom. After all, we can never do a better job than God; just consider the sparrows. But who cares about all those families that will miss the rapture - they actually deserve the punishment - and at least they never saw it coming? That's no better.

Suffering or not. Worry or not. Tribulation or not. This life is a twinkling of an eye and only a shadow of things to come. Fear not those who can destroy the flesh, fear God.

And for what it's worth, if I were to pick one point of view, it would be pre-wrath. More specifically, meeting Christ in the air prior to the bowls of wrath in Revelation 16. That leaves a lot of tribulation within view of the Christian. And don't forget that people also make it through to the Millenium - a thousand years with Christ on earth.
